Chrome Ore Services (Pvt) Ltd (COS) is a ‘first and one of its kind company’ in the mineral industry. It is one of the leading organizations of Asia in the metal and mineral sector. It processes chromite ore for export to the global metal industry in bulk.
COS is currently largest, best equipped facility of mining and processing chromite in Asia. With years of experience, it is not only a pioneer of the Pakistan metals and minerals market, but is well known around the globe for its quality of export. It disseminate yearly 300,000 MT of chromite of distinctive qualities to the global market of metal industry, COS contributes strikingly to the advancement of the mining in its country.
Our Product
Chromium Plays a important role in metallurgy. It is the key element in the manufacture of steel as it has a high melting point. The ore which is extracted by both the open pit and underground methods is of different qualities and grades. In order to enhance the marketability, the ore is collected and sorted to give its buyers verifiable quality product COS provides the widest range of chrome ore and concentrate related product range available from any one organization.
COS has long term lease agreements with around 300 miners throughout Pakistan. It has a number of site offices opened as mini warehouse at mines mouth in chromite rich area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Baluchistan province.
State of the Art Facility SGS:
COS has one of the best state of the art laboratory (SGS) for testing chrome ore as well as other minerals. COS is the only facility in all over Asia where we provide in-house SGS services and certification. SGS works as an independent authority for sampling, testing & chemical analysis of lumpy chrome ore pre and post shipment.
Avery Scale:
COS has Avery Scale’s electronic weighbridges, which are ISO certified, paired with range of indicator, software and accessories with a complete weighing and data management solution. The weighbridges are systematically integrated with UniWin server and Oracle application.
